Ingenico and Izicap announce a strategic partnership to bring Izicap’s loyalty solutions to banks and acquirers using PPaaS, Ingenico’s Payments Platform as a Service

Paris, Suresnes - Wednesday, December 14th, 2022:  Payments technology company Ingenico, and Izicap, the Nice-based fintech which helps Merchant Acquirers gain a competitive advantage by capitalizing on payment data from the POS, today announced a strategic partnership centred on PPaaS, Ingenico’s innovative cloud Payments Platform as a Service. 

The partnership will help accelerate the rollout of Izicap to new clients and their merchants, as well as increase flexibility and functionality, confirming Ingenico’s position as a trusted technology partner enabling the ecosystems of the new world of payments acceptance.

PPaaS enables its clients, such as banks and merchant acquirers, to select from a catalogue of payments and value-added services without the need for lengthy and expensive software development, avoiding the complexity associated with deployment across a variety of terminal brands. It enables no-code, configurable orchestration of traditional and alternative payments with commerce services such as Izicap, that help merchants run their businesses and grow their revenues. As PPaaS is device agnostic, it can operate on both Android and proprietary devices from Ingenico and other manufacturers.

Izicap gives small and medium merchants a competitive edge by monetising their payment transactions data, helping to generate new sources of income and improve customer retention. It empowers local merchants with tools usually only accessible to larger corporates and brands, enabling them to send personalized offerings to customers through vouchers and cashback.
