All products manufactured after June 2025 will be fully EAA-compliant. Where required Ingenico will update the EU Declaration of Conformity to include EAA compliance.

The Directive (EU) 2019/882, known as the European Accessibility Act (EAA), will come into effect on the 28th June 2025.
This Directive requires a wide range of products and services - including payment terminals and banking services - to be accessible to people with disabilities.
The directive applies to all products placed on the EU market after the 28th June 2025, including both hardware and software.
A compliance and enforcement mechanism will be in place, with possible penalties, including fines, for non-compliance.
Devices already placed on the market comply with the standards that were in force at the time of their placement on the market.
