Ensure that your device has NFC functionality. If it does, you may need to enable it:
How to turn on NFC:
- Go to Settings > More.
- Tap the NFC switch to activate it. The Android Beam function will automatically turn on.
- If Android Beam doesn't turn on automatically, tap it and select Yes to enable it.
NFC on smartphones works in conjunction with Android Beam. If Android Beam is disabled, it can limit NFC’s ability to share data.
