When the shopper taps their NFC‑enabled card or mobile wallet on the merchant’s NFC‑capable smartphone or tablet, the Ingenico SoftPOS app securely captures the payment data, runs the transaction through the PCI‑CPOC/MPOC‑certified stack, and instantly authorises it over the internet (minimum 3G/4G).
